 Game Day

If a player cannot make it to a game, the Coach and Manager should be informed by Saturday evening.

Players should arrive at the time as advised by the coach.  This is to give ample time for signing on, warm ups, Coaches address, positioning on the field and organising Parental Team Structure roles.  Individual Coaches will usually specify their own expectations.

If you are late, the Coach may well have asked players from a lower age group to "play up" to make up numbers.  These players are part of the team for the day, and you will have to share game time with them.  You may also be asked to start "Off the Bench".

In the event of too many players, the coaching staff will interchange players onto the ground between quarters.  Players who regularly attend training, heed instructions and try hard will be rewarded with more time on the field.

Players should prepare for their game by bringing your kit (jumper, shorts, socks and boots), mouth guard, water bottle and a change of clothes if raining.  Avoid bringing a ball, as the Coach will have some to warm up with.
