Welcome to Miranda Bombers Auskick

FAQ's

What are our age groups?

The Auskick program is for children from U5 to U8.  During the 2017 season, Miranda Bombers ran Auskick in separate age groups, each managed by a team coach.  This ensures each group has players of an equal age, enjoying an Auskick training session that is appropriate to their age and ability.  We will look to build on this model during the 2018 season.

How do I register for Auskick?

Who runs our Auskick program?

Our Auskick program is run entirely by volunteers, the parents of participating children.  We encourage all parents to get involved in supporting each training session and weekend match - even if you haven't played footy before, if you can throw and catch a ball, you're qualified to help!

When do we train?

Our Auskick team train once per week at Lincoln Oval (Waratah Park) Sutherland.

Training days for 2018 are yet to be confirmed.

When do we play?

The Bombers play on Sundays at 8am. Season 2018 kicks off on in early April.  More details will follow.

What happens if it rains?

On a training day, information regarding ground closures is readily available to Auskick families through the Sutherland shire council wet weather alerts, available here. On a match day, a decision on whether a ground is fit to play will generally be made by the club where the game is to be played.

Where a decision is made to close a ground on either a training day or match day, an alert will be posted on this page and an email will be sent to our Auskick families to confirm ground closure.
